About me

I was born in Ljubljana on February 14th, 1964. After graduating at the grammar school Poljane I studied journalism; later I was employed as a journalist at the editorship of the Slovenian magazine Jana. I was very successful, and everything suggested a great career was waiting for me, when in 1992 I suffered from the first episode of mental illness called manic-depressive psychosis. It almost killed me, and turned me in a completely different, new direction. I was very much afraid - until last year. What happened in between is described in the books 'Japajade' and 'Depra'. And what is the lesson we can learn from this? There is always a way out, leading towards the sun, towards the light, no matter how deep the trouble is. I would like to help you too.
